The Chicago Bears dropped to 0-2 with a 27-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs. Justin Fields struggled, as he finished 16-of-29 for 211 yards, a touchdown, two interceptions and a 61.1 passer rating. Colin Cowherd explains how Fields is proving he is not 'that guy' for the Bears. On the West Coast, the Los Angeles Rams may have lost 30-23 to the San Francisco 49ers. However, the team generated 386 yards of total offense, including 147 yards from rookie WR Puka Nacua (off 15 receptions). Colin praises Sean McVay's coaching for the Rams staying in games, then discusses the team's potential this season, including Cooper Kupp's future. #TheHerd #NFL #JustinFields SUBSCRIBE to get all the latest content from The Herd: 🤍foxs.pt/SubscribeTHEHERD The all-new FOX Sports App, built for the modern sports fan: 🤍tinyurl.com/y4uouolb ►Watch the latest content from The Herd: 🤍foxs.pt/LatestOnTheHerd ▶The Carton Show's YouTube channel: 🤍sprtspod.fox/SubscribeCartonShow ▶First Things First's YouTube channel: 🤍foxs.pt/SubscribeFIRSTTHINGSFIRST ►UNDISPUTED’s YouTube channel: 🤍foxs.pt/SubscribeUNDISPUTED ►Speak’s YouTube channel: 🤍sprtspod.fox/SUBSCRIBEtoSpeak ►The Skip Bayless Show YouTube channel: 🤍sprtspod.fox/SUBSCRIBESkipShow ►What's Wright? with Nick Wright YouTube channel: 🤍sprtspod.fox/whatswright/youtube See more from THE HERD: 🤍foxs.pt/THEHERDFoxSports Like THE HERD on Facebook: 🤍foxs.pt/THEHERDFacebook Follow THE HERD on Twitter: 🤍foxs.pt/THEHERDTwitter Follow THE HERD on Instagram: 🤍foxs.pt/THEHERDInstagram Follow Colin Cowherd on Twitter: 🤍foxs.pt/ColinCowherdTwitter About The Herd with Colin Cowherd: The Herd with Colin Cowherd is a three-hour sports television and radio show on FS1 and iHeartRadio. You can’t regress from zero … which is where he’s starting from as a QB.
He just is what we thought he was.
With cooper kupp, this rams team will be so much better on 3rd down and will have even more pressure in the red zone through the pass game which they haven’t had yet
But they did pick him when they traded the #1
I'm so tired of the bears having pathetic excuses of offense my entire life. I wasn't alive for the 85 bears. How about we get a good bears team since 360p quality video exists. I have to pull out vhs to see a good bears team. It feels like whatever they try at they are worse than if they didn't even put in effort. Pathetic franchise that doesn't deserve their market share or fans.

Question: Has Chicago ever developed a homegrown QB in the last 25 years?
GO LIONS!!!!!
Cowherd says the new draft is "loaded" at QB. Remember what they said 3 years ago? Lawrence was generational great, Fields, Wilson and Lance were going to great. Talking heads talk.
Playing quarterback isn't hard LMFAO ok colin there is a reason its so difficult to find a franchise quarterback and maybe just maybe its because its really hard to play quarterback well at the NFL level
There’s like 15 guys in the world who are good at playing QB in the NFL. It’s not THAT hard though. 😂😂😂
I love Fields but Penix is looking nice right now.. and might be a what we wished Fields was as a passer.. hope he figures it out
They better watch out for this Rams team. Once all those young players really figure things about half way through the season, this team is going to be big trouble for anyone they play. Niner fans aren't talking too much about that game because I think they saw what I saw...The Rams were not phased at all by the 49ers and they took it to the 49ersfor 3 and a half quarters, If not for two unfortunate plays, the Rams would have won that game. The Rams are going to get Chase Young from the Commanders and it won't surprise me if they also get Johnathan Taylor from the Colts. If they get those two guys, this team is going very deep in the playoffs
A lot of the same problems we saw with Mitch Trubisky are happening again with Justin Fields, hopefully Caleb Williams can finally break the cycle when he arrives!
Bunch of BS Fields wasn't picked by the GM and coach. They had the #1 pick and traded it away to stick with Fields. If AZ has the #1 pick and they stick with Murray, he's their guy.
I watched Justin Fields last year extensively and noticed how he was missing easy reads, not throwing to his receivers when they had good separation, not identifying the peak timing for their routes, holding onto the ball too long even though there were easy check downs available and ended up getting sacked or throwing reckless passes. This is so common that not even a special QB should be making these simple reads. Yet he missed a lot of them. When he throws on the run his passes become very erratic and inaccurate. When they decided to keep him I was shocked and I knew it was a big mistake. This speaks more about the Bears organization that they are not identifying red flags and investing draft selections over the QB position when their current QB is not a QB that will take you in a post season. The bears need to get rid of Justin Fields and I gave him a very objective look, but he was just missing things a backup QB might not be missing. Yes, he made one good throw for a TD last week. But just one throw doesn't make up for the sum of all the bad decisions, he's made. A broken clock is right once in a while. But don't count on it routinely.
Bears OC is trash. Why you calling a screen on the goal line lol
Not a very bold take. Of course the Bears GM isn't in danger, he made an all time trade down from the #1 pick and finessed Philly out of a mid pick as a cherry on top. Panthers are 0-2, that doubles their odds for Caleb. Fields is cooked regardless.
Colin Cowherd flies PRIDE flag proudly 🏳️🌈
How many big time College QBs actually are stars in the NFL? Not many. It seems the College All league guys. Are the ones who become NFL Stars. Brady, Mahomes, Cousins...
