Famed sex therapist Amie Harwick was found outside of her Hollywood Hills home struggling to hold onto life after allegedly being thrown off of a third-story balcony in 2020. Harwick died at a hospital shortly after the fall from blunt force injuries to her head and torso, along with evidence of strangulation. Authorities quickly zeroed in on her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, who had previous restraining orders filed against him by Harwick and was described as a “stalker” by many of the doctor’s friends. Pursehouse now faces trial in a California courtroom for Harwick’s murder. Pursehouse's defense said the defendant admitted to breaking into Harwick's home but did not murder her. They are seeking a not guilty verdict on the murder charge and asking for a lesser charge. WTF !!!! This judge is out of control. He is obviously pro-prosecutions and interferes with everything the defense attorney does. In fact, he takes over the defense job by asking questions. The defense team should ask him to recuse himself, which should be on the record. Everybody has the right to a defense.
If they didn't take so many sidebars it would go much quicker 🤔

This trial, so far, has been burdened with useless, insignificant questions from defence! Someone needs to tell these two clowns that they don’t have to cross-examine on EVERY witness!!!!!🙄

It’s SO frustrating because there seems to be 3 sides fighting this case……
1. The Prosecutor
2. The Defense

The judge obviously can’t decide whether he wants to remain a judge, or go back to being an attorney! Either way, he needs to pick a lane and stay in it!! 😤
This judge is absolutely terrible! He is evidently under some sort of a time crunch and is making everyone afraid to take too much time. I know the defense is objecting to everything under the sun, but I can’t stand the way this judge runs his courtroom! 😤
Also, it seems like the judge wants to be the judge and at the same time be an attorney as well! He continues to overstep by asking questions of the witnesses and rephrasing questions the attorney has asked, it’s so irritating! He needs to stay in his lane and due his job and that’s basically being an umpire and calling plays! Instead of them being sports plays, they’re legal plays, ie…. objection sustained/overruled! 🤷🏽♀️
I’ve NEVER heard defense attorneys object SO much!! It’s RIDICULOUS!!
If the Prosecutor breathes wrong there’s an objection by defense!! (HARD eye roll)🙄

The male defense attorney is having a hard time and is throwing a tantrum, I love that for him. It is embarrassing how many times the judge has to interrupt the defense and ask clearer questions because of how incompetent the male defense is. If you don't have the skills to do the job then don't do it. I'd change careers after this. I pray the judges involvement in this trial does not give the pos grounds on getting another trial

My thing is, if he didn't go there planning to kill her then why wear gloves? What did he think was going to happen? Even if he went there to talk to her, that's illegal and he would go to jail. If he did go there intending to kill her then did he think he would get away with it? I'm so confused what his train of thought was. That he would say it was an accident? What in the world.

Alleged “ murderer “ would have been better off defending himself like the murderer Daryl Brooks did, because the male attorney doesn’t seem to know what he is doing, but then again I’m not an attorney but Yikes!😮 Actually all the attorneys seem to stumble on all of the questions and evidence provided. My goodness poor girl and her family my heart breaks for them all! I hope they will get justice no matter what. 🥹
IMO, I believe this judge is going to give cause for appeal in what SHOULD be a slam dunk for the DA. I have never before seen a judge interfere with the witness testimony as this one. What a shame for Amie. 😢
If it wasn't for this Judge we would be here for at least 6 months!
